Spelling

The spelling programmes are multi-sensory and use visual, auditory and kinaesthetic activities. They are designed to support all learning styles. There is a weekly, structured spelling programme, which incorporates activities to encourage: the correct use of words in context; vocabulary building; recognition and use of homophones, practise in spelling patterns and phonemic awareness.
